Nicki Minaj - Keys Under Palm Trees

I am really feeling this track for some reason. Maybe because winter is dying out and Im looking forward to the whole palm tree thing. Whatever the reason, check out Nicki Minaj's new mixtape Beam me up Scotty. Put on by the Affiliates' DJ Holiday and the Trap-A-Holics. I didnt think i would be into some chick from Queens who got signed by Lil Wayne and Young Money, but girl can spit. Expect to hear alot from Nicki the Ninja aka Nicki Lewinski in the near future.

Kodac - Picture That (prod. 14kt)

Tight song/vid from Subterraneous Records' Kodac. Big up to Water World. Also notice the Virginia Union shout out. Ever notice how mad MCs went to school in VA? something to think about.

Embassy Music Board - My Life (prod. Don Cannon)

New track from Embassy Music Board. This one is off their new mixtape "Embassy Presents International Ties Foreign Affairs" Say that shit 10 times fast. Kind of a different feel for Cannon, too. Def got a classic vibe to it though.

Listen to it here.

New video from the Drunken Dragon's side project - Spork Kills. Dont know how i feel about this one yet. Also, what happened to the fro, Lou?

Willy Northpole feat Bobby Ray (B.O.B.) - Hood Dreamer

Pure fire from Arizona's Willy Northpole. Been hearing alot from this dude lately. He was signed to Luda's DTP so I'm expecting a big mainstream effort. We'll see though. For now i got the audio up, but check back soon and ill have the video (Dir by Taj) and some behind the scenes action. one.

DOOM - Gazillion Ear + Gazillion Ear (Thom Yorke Remix)

I havent posted in a minute. Life=hectic=no intranets. Back to it now. Here's probably the best track off DOOM's new album. Gazillion Ear. I'm really digging the triple beat attack. DOOM stays steady throughout. Gotta give Dilla love too. This track is butter. Also check the Thom Yorke remix. Butter + something that makes butter better. I just realized I write like a fucking nutcase. one.

Thom Yorke Remix (zshare)

Braaand spanking new track from Wale feat that lovable scamp Lady GaGa . Wale is going to blow up and the DMV will finally get some serious recognition for our music scene.

Pacific Division - Shut Up

I don't know what the hell is going on with this pic. Operation? Now Pac Div has been around for a minute and are part of that New Skool hipster boom bap. Yes, this does sound like a Cool Kids track. But it bangs. Hard. They have a new self titled EP out on iTunes. Check it out.

Wale feat Curren$y and Tre (UCB) prod 9th Wonder - Word Play

New track of 9th and Wale's mixtape - Back to the Feature (dropping April 29) . Been waiting a while for a new wale mixtape, and Production by 9th Wonder? not too shabby. Check it out.
